For publications, authors can choose among the following sections:
Articles contain empirical and theoretical approaches to socially relevant developments, with the aim of expanding scientific and practical knowledge. The articles are subject to review by two referees under a double-blind peer review process.
WSI reports appear at regular intervals and analyse collective bargaining policy and wage trends in Germany and Europe as well as distribution of social wealth in Germany.
Research reports present the latest findings from empirical research, data analyses and surveys of the current state of research.
Practice-based findings present reports on and assessments of current policy and trade union developments by academics and practitioners.
Debate offers a forum for discussion of controversial scholarly or political issues.
Book reviews introduce new publications in the fields of social sciences and economics.
